A delicious holiday cocktail just in time for the festivities: The Evergreen is surprisingly light on the palate, yet filled with layers of flavor. My goal was to combine a great variety of seasonal tastes into one holiday concoction that remains balanced and full of delicate flavors, yet strong enough to pack a warming winter punch.
The result is a whisky (Japanese spelling) based cocktail that takes you into the outdoors with not-so-subtle hints of pine and rosemary on the nose. However, it will bring you back in with an apple cider finish. Even though this is served cold, it is sure to warm you up!
